NEDEX product range satisfy different demands of Insulated Glass Producers worldwide.
S- Series:
S-series are tested by Rosenheim Institute/Germany and certified according to EN 1279-2. The weight loss by 950 degrees is less than 2%. The cristallinity for 3A is more than 50%. They have in comparison to other products in the market high adsorption capacity and an acceptable adsorption speed of 7% in the first 3 hours of adsorption.
W-Series:
W-series are tested by TNO Institute/Netherlands and certified according tp EN 1279-2. They are specially designed for Insulated Glass Industry and their technical charactersitics are unique in the market. As the weight loss by 950 degrees is higher than 6% they are still unusual for some applicators. NEDEX is introducing this series more an more into the market to reach a much higher level of quality in adsorption. NEDEX efforts continue to set new targets in the new formulation of EN 1279, to accept this product as the best product for IG applications.
W- series are a combination of synthetic zeolithes and natural adsorbents with low binder content. They have very high adsorption capacity (Tc values exceeding 28-32%) and the saturation is not even reached after 6 months of loading. The adsorption speed is very low and the density of the product can be very high (more than 950 gr/ltr) to reach very high life for IG units.
K-Series
K-series with high K-ion content have a 3A cristallinity of more than 70%. It is prodcued for applications in chemical industry. Water adsorption capacities are between the figures of S- and W-series, and the adsorpiton speeds are similar to S-series.
E-series:
E-series are specifically developed for insulated glass industry for general usage. If IG units are not used under extreme conditions they ensure an acceptable long IG unit life.
E-series are combinations of synthetic zeolithes and natural zeolithes with low content of binder. Due to this formulation they are an economic version for molecular sieves.?
